Yamako Red Variant

I produced this in about an hour or so for the YAMA Anime and Manga Association's website. This is my version of Yamako, the YAMA mascot.

My design is based someowhat on one made by and many previous members of YAMA which led to the creation of that design. I actually based my design on a more super deformed DDR/Pop'n'Music style drawing still hiding in my sketchbook. I just stretched her out and made her a bit more sketchy.

I realize there's a lot of proportion type problems here, but it was done rather quickly and I kinda wanted a rushed sketchbook feel so I'm overall happy aside from her weird lopsided lower half. Luckily the website design uses only her bust so it's a win-win.

As evidenced by the title, I put a red filter over her with photoshop. You can see the original colours on [link] in the next few weeks but I like this better personally. I also did a blue morph which I like, but since red is an important colour here I felt it was appropriate.
